Home Security Robots Selling in Korea

Technology improves every day, so if you’re looking for the best home security, it’s comparable to searching for the top of the line computer. What qualifies as the best can change at any moment. Recently, Samsung Electronics and S1 Corp. banned together to create the ultimate home security robot, and they will be selling the first of its kind in Korea. If a talking, moving robot of metal comes to mind, this is completely different than the home security robot that will be out on the market. Think more along the lines of a domesticated device such as a vacuum cleaner.
The Samsung CV-RA84V “Tango” is a robotic vacuum cleaner that is circular in shape, and S1’s visual security system will be an additional feature on this device. When you’re away from home, the robot will record video clips and send them to your PC. Then you can pull up the video and watch it from a computer or mobile phone in real time as long as you have an Internet connection. So the robot has the ability to clean your home and monitor it at all times. Domestic duties just got a little easier!
Some other features of the Tango include improved “room mapping” technology, touch screen interface, enhanced suction motor, superior dirt brush design, auto adjustable brush deck height, voice commands and anti-tangle mechanisms. The Tango seems to be the ultimate device for carrying out domestic duties and providing superior protection to you and your family.
Visual security systems are commonly used in commercial offices through the use of a closed-circuit television. However, the demand from homeowners grew so much that similar systems such as the Tango have been designed for residential areas. If a robotic vacuum cleaner is the face of home security today, can you imagine what it will look like in the future?
