New wireless home security devices are continuing to make a debut on the market, and recently SimpliSafe launched the loudest siren. At 105 dB, this siren will sound off as if there is an ambulance speeding down your street. Whether you’re a homeowner or a renter, SimpliSafe’s siren is now available for purchase.
What is SimpliSafe and what can it do for you?
SimpliSafe has a variety of other products to choose from too. You can even create a customized security system for your home or apartment. The products they have to offer include a base station, keypad, keychain remotes, motion sensors, entry sensors, panic buttons, auxiliary sirens and accessories such as window/door decals, 2M Command Strip adhesive for the sensors and batteries. If you don’t have a home phone, SimpliSafe will notify the police of an emergency through their nationwide cellular wireless connection. Unlike cell phone companies, this security company doesn’t require a contract, and you can cancel at any time.

The new siren is weather resistant, and it can be mounted indoors and/or outdoors as long as it’s within the 100-foot range from the base station. When the siren is triggered, it will countdown by beeping to warn that the alarm will follow if the homeowner or renter doesn’t punch in the pin to disarm it. In case of an emergency or break-in, the siren will sound off with an ear-blasting alarm that neighbors and the burglar will be able to hear. This is convenient if you have a two-story home, because you will be able to hear when a burglar triggers the alarm wherever you are in the house. Also, you can install a siren outside so neighbors can hear go off when you’re out of town.
