Keyless Locking Mailbox with Touch Pad Access
February 10, 2009 – 8:13 pm
If you’re worried about mail theft and/or identity theft, then a secure locking mailbox can be a smart home improvement. We’ve talked about security mailboxes before, but those old school boxes were all opened and closed with keys. How 20th Century!
If you don’t want another key to add to your ring, then check out this locking mailbox from Earth Tech Products.
Instead of a keyhole, it has a numeric touch pad. To access your mail simply punch in your 4-digit code (it works just like an ATM).
The other features are pretty standard for the industry: secure construction, large storage area underneath that can accommodate small packages and several days worth of mail, reinforcement bars for the post, etc.
Pick it up for $250.
