I installed one on my home shortly after there was news of a burglary in the neighborhood a few years ago and we all just feel safer. Occasionally an animal will set it off, but it's nice to know that it works. I bring one with me for camping as well. Nice little device, definitely worth the few bucks. Nice post! But both of these types of non lethal weapons are still a little bulky to carry, many people don't like the inconveniance, in these cases I would suggest an OC Pepper spray with a high burn temp rating. They also make these spesified for dogs & bears. What ever the case it is nice that we have choices to consider for protecting us & our family in todays environment.
